I adore wallpaper, especially in foyers, powder baths, and dining rooms. Unique hardware and plumbing fixtures are something I always eye and are appreciated; these are the jewelry of the home. I am also drawn to beautifully designed gardens, though they've been challenging to maintain lately. And I'm continually inspired by the work of local architects like Furman + Keil, Cuppett Kilpatrick, and Paul Lamb.

Buy for the location first. You can change a house but you can't change the location.

My family is in the cattle business. I grew up going to our ranch on the weekends, working cattle, building fences, and moving hay bales.

The walnut Louis Philippe armoire is in our bedroom. It was the first antique piece I purchased in my 20s. I paid the antique dealer over the course of 6 months and still love it today!
